Conflicts of interest

Readers should know who is behind what they read and which interests could influence it. This page lists the relevant ones and explains how we handle them.

Rules for everyone who writes or reviews

• Authors and reviewers declare professional activities, clients, employers and holdings related to the subject of an article before working on it.
• A person does not write about, or review, a company, project, product or asset in which they have a financial interest or a commercial relationship, unless the article discloses it clearly at the top.
• Gifts, paid trips or free products offered by companies we cover are declined or disclosed in the article.
• Interviewees do not approve articles before publication.

Current disclosures

Daniel Ferreira (co-founder and editor) works as a licensed real estate broker in Brazil (CRECI-DF 12.668) and runs his own real estate business and websites. Articles about real estate tokenization or the property market that could relate to this activity carry a disclosure. He is not presented as an investment adviser.

Rogers Garcia (co-founder) works as a financial advisor specializing in crypto-assets. Crypto articles he writes or reviews disclose any professional relationship with the assets, companies or platforms covered.

Márcio Manzi is Director of Benefits (Diretor de Seguridade) at POUPREV and works as a financial planner, consultant and educator. Articles about private and supplementary pensions disclose this role when relevant.

Rafael Coelho (Rafael Winner) is a founding partner of Winner X – Consultoria Financeira, which offers financial consulting and financial products (such as investments, insurance, consortium, financing and pension plans). Articles involving these services or products disclose this relationship.

Holdings of crypto-assets or tokenized assets by team members will be listed here when relevant to our coverage. At the date of this page, no such declaration has been filed.
